Joe Satriani Shreds the Granada

Multi-Grammy nominated axe man Joe Satriani stopped through town on his Wormhole Tour to play the Granada last night, but despite guitarists usually popularity with the ladies, one tweeter complained the gig was a bit of a dude fest. Other fans, however, were too busy getting their Wayne's World on and having the "BEST NIGHT EVER" to notice.

The rocker, who also plays in a band called Chickenfoot with Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony of Van Halen, is currently in a plagiarism battle with Coldplay for allegedly ripping off his song, "If I could Fly."

If you didn’t catch the performance last night, click here to watch videos shot by a fan. Or head down to his show at the Paramount Theatre in Austin tonight. Buy tickets here.
