GREAT GOOD, COLD BEER, LIVE MUSIC!
The Rocket is an Austin Sixth Street-esque bar and grill located in the heart of Fort Worth. The restaurant is conveniently situated between downtown and the Stockyards on North Main. The cozy main dining room seats about 60 and the two-story outside patio seats about 120. The menu features traditional bar fare: burgers, wings, and nachos in addition to a wide selection of beer and wine. On the jukebox, a lot of rockabilly and '70s punk music and on the walls, vintage rock-concert posters, a 7-foot-wide steer head, and photos of pin-up girls. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Parking is available on the street and in a lot across Main.
