Luckie's Smokehouse

Luckie’s Smokehouse has opened in a new shopping center at Interstate 30 and Cockrell Hill. Owner Charles Johnson notes that he uses a wet rub on his brisket and a dry rub on his ribs, then lets them smoke over mild pecan and oak. “I want people to be able to taste the meat,” he says. Amen to that.
