All the World's a Stage: Celebrating Performance in the Visual Arts

The Dallas Museum of Art marks the conclusion of its Summer Spotlight Tour (the showcase of 30 of its masterworks encourages art lovers to consider the relationship of the artwork to cinema) and the opening of its "All the World's a Stage" exhibition with free admission on Aug. 29 and 30. The exhibition, featuring more than 125 works from the museum's collections, explores how performance has been viewed and recorded by visual artists. It opens Aug. 30 and will be on view through Feb. 28, 2010. The Summer Spotlight Tour runs through Aug. 30.
