The BreathEasy Concert Series is a gathering of friends and music lovers with the common goal of finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. The BreathEasy Concert Series shares in the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which is to assure the development of the means to cure and control CF and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening, genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States We hope that you will be apart of this event, helping to raise awareness of the disease in your community and the great strides being made by the Foundation. Rhett Miller, widely loved for his work as frontman and main songwriter of the hard-charging rock n roll quartet the Old 97s (of which he is still a member), will grace the audience with a solo set, playing all the favorites and his new material. Miller has embarked on a solo career with much success with releases such as The Instigator and The Believer. The Texas-bred artists knack for using accessible songcraft to address complex emotional issues has been the key to his success in reaching new fans and bringing back the old fans. Rhett shares the mission of the Breathe Easy Foundation to find a cure for CF in this lifetime through awareness and research.
